Jan. 4th, 2006 11:30 pmI need to write an entry. I promised myself I wouldn't write anything until I got my journal from my DisneyWorld trip typed up, but to heck with it, if I don't write a bit I'll forget.
The Thursday after I got back I had this whole big plan to get together with Sierra, Anthea, and Kelli (respectively). Thankfully for my sanity, and my car, Sierra couldn't make it and Anthea lost track of time, so instead I went to go see The Producers with Kelli. Such a good movie, I recommend it to everyone who enjoys: musical, laughing at Hitler, Mel Brook's dirty/clever sense of humor, and having a good time. I got so caught up at the end I dragged her down to floor and we danced around to the credits until we'd decided we made enough of a spectacle out of ourselves and we tangoed out the door. We went to Freddie's and got something to eat before going to her place to spend the night. It was relaxed and nice. I enjoy her company, even if I don't know what to talk about sometimes.
Friday I got together with Anthea and we went to go see King Kong. OMG! (<-One of the girliest things every written) such a fabulous movie. It was flippin' long but so worth the aching bladder. The scary bits went on so long that you couldn't help but laugh at points (i.e. the T-Rex scene). Anthea and I got anxious and we grabbed onto each other, just like we did for Serenity, and we stayed that way for the rest of the movie practically. P. Jackson is so much fun, and such a bastard, he would have these beautiful fuzzy moments and then have shit blow up and just shock you every single time. He'd have humor during a dramatic, tear jerker scene. This one scene bunches of the characters are in danger from giant bugs of all kinds (ok, being scared of bugs that freaked me enough) and instead of swelling orchestras there was practically no sound aside from the thumps and grunts of the fighting, almost everyone dies and they don't even get last words. It was exhausting but wonderful.
Saturday was New Years, we're a quiet people so my folks and I spent the evening at home watching movies. It was nice, I miss fireworks but I liked it anyway. And sometime around ten I got online and started talking to a friend of mine. He told me about his love life troubles (there isn't one) which led to this giant back story, once we'd talked that to death the conversation turned to what all teenagers talk about. I am, of course, talking about sex. Nothing icky, we aren't like that, just interesting. For instance we talked about fantasies (his were incredibly boring, but that's typical for a guy), dom/sub Switchery, and kinks, that kinda thing, just getting to know each other. Sometime around one Laura (who is the Anonymous person reading my journal) joined us. It was fun, I love being totally open, it's refreshing. I was a touch worried I wouldn't be able to look them in the face without blushing though (not the case, when I saw them we smiled in a secretly amused kinda way, but it wasn't embarrassing).
I spent Monday with Sierra. We went shopping for Christmas presents for me of all people, I felt bad since she's supporting herself and I was kinda stealing her money. All right, I felt bad enough to put off buy something but I ended up asking for the newest Stephen Lynch CD and a top from the Look (I was tempted to get the camisole that said 'F*CK ME I'M LEGAL' but she picked the other one I was debating between, a black wife-beater that says 'I <3 Lesbos'). Oh lord, we had such a gay flash at the Look, I saw a body fitted black dress with two giant zippers (one in the back and one in the front) that made such a satisfying noise when you zipped them we got chills, and the back was composed of black straps that were attached by shiny new padlocks. I got this image of a firey woman in that dress, hand cuffed, and daring me to be dom enough to take her. I shared that image with Sierra and we wilted against the clothes racks. "We aren't lesbians *cough*" "Course not, never. *cough* Don't know what you mean."
Tuesday was the start of intensives. Mine is bland (I'm doing astronomy for that last required quarter of science) but kinda interesting, it's a shame only three of us participate.
After school I went to West (that's where I saw the two from New Years) and helped Ellie with her DI and Duncan and Aaron with their panto. Aaron and I kept laughing at the dumbest things, it's so annoying, whenever I'm hyper or feeling mischievous I act like I'm high or something, giggling at everything and blushing every third word.
