May. 6th, 2005 11:37 pmTonight was fun. Hell this week wasn't bad.
Pamela (one of my favorite teachers) was out of town all this week because her father died. I hope she isn't going too insane, they were very close. However (as evil as this is) I didn't have to go walking all week because she wasn't here, I wish her (and him) every warm and floaty feeling I have in me. All right, and a few prayers, as uncharacteristic as that is.
Anyway, back to the point. I went to the 'Senior Showcase' at West tonight. It was not there best I will readily admit that, however it wasn't as bad as Paul implied (said bluntly) when I snuck into one of their rehearsals.
They could have been a lot better but as it was it was a fine performance. After the show (one of the better parts, sadly, was the live auction which was hilarious) I schmoozed with just about everyone. Paul (talked about the show), Ian (very brief), Hugh (which was strange, I always trip over my tongue around him but I hope we'll get together sometime in the future), Garreth (about life and going to Greece - and getting credit for it), Kyle (small talk), Ariel (I think that's her name, she's Katie's ex-stepsister and she gave me a scarf - well I bought it but she gave it to me for half price), Cody (life and . . . well life in general), Bethany (Greece and Jasmine H.) . . . You get the idea.
Yesterday the Architecture class went to this completely spiffy house in construction, a gay couple owns it, it's huge and oh-so pretty. I wish we could see it when it's done, furnished and everything.
I hope Prom goes well tomorrow. For my sake and for my guests. For Ernie because I will hardly see him tomorrow (he did get a date after all) and Sierra because I'm forcing her to come and she really doesn't want to. Oh please, please, let it be a great night, let her be happy.
I've got to dash.
Much love ~J
