How best to go about describing my day?
Me: Hint?
Ant: Sure
Me: Tony shirtless, Paul hugs, half hour phone call, and date with Sariah.
Ant: . . . Dude . . . You've been busy.
Me: I know!
Let's start. Improv is a pain in my ass and I'm not sure how to fix it, but there's only a month left of the quarter so I won't have to suffer much longer. The play is nearly complete, opening night is tomorrow. My counseling group is hosting the "Valentine's Day Dance" next week, I dislike the theme since it cuts out too many people and we are so not ready for it. Surprisingly I didn't see Anthea once today. I don't mean we waved hello in the halls but were unable to speak, I mean I even looked for her and was unable to locate that bobbing, braided head. Sadly it appears partly due to us missing each other she was found by the she dragon that dares to call herself Director. But all shall be well tomorrow for I shall bring the second season of Buffy (which I am corrupting her with) and she shall laugh at me drooling all over myself.
I'm not doing anything for the DDF tourney next week, primarily for two reasons, one I didn't find a piece to compete with and two I have social commitments that night and didn't look too hard for the former. These commitments are the dance I mentioned above which is followed by a slumber party (hopefully) which will consist, at least, of myself, Sariah, Ashton, Sierra, and Savannah.
(Side note: Savannah is freaking fast! She fell 'in love' with Sierra at Prom a week and a half ago. Broke up with her girlfriend of a year on Sunday. And now has a new girlfriend, who is not Sierra because she couldn't bear to share Sierra with Joe. Whoa.)
After school I had rehearsal, which I thought was rather silly since all my work is done, the only thing I have to do now is a little sewing every three hours or so. Since my work level is so light I took the opportunity to call Sariah and confirm plans to meet up on Friday. We ended up talking for half an hour about randomness and I was struck by the urge to see her, after surprisingly little effort I arranged that we could get together later, provided her Mom agreed. Shockingly she did (she apparently rarely lets them out during the week) and I was put into giggle mode for the rest of rehearsal. At odd moments I would feel bubbly all over and start grinning like I'd been slapped with a happy stick. I contained myself as best I could but I told three people (surprisingly all of them men). I told Duncan because he acted just as geeky when he got together with his girlfriend. I told Tony because he's my date gurur - Oh! Tony shirtless, he did it as a joke. He and two other guys are the suitors Jasmine turns down. They all come out one at a time and pose for the audience. One of them is shirtless and the others are bare-chested but have vests on. It made sense to me, this is one of those theater in jokes you'd only get if you were there. The down (up?) side of this is I was leaving when the stripped and it's my custom to hug people goodbye so I hugged these topless guys, enduring endless jokes at my intentions, but I was so hyped by my date right after that that I didn't care.
I picked her up and we went to the office to get some cash (the plan had been to go to Eagle River and run around but that, yet again, fell through) she met my Dad and thought he was sweet and a little weird.
She is so confusingly fantastic. It's bizarre. I can see Sierra, Anthea, myself, and a few others all rolled into her personality. She's incredibly shy, indecisive but bold, funny, sweet to the point of insanity, so adorable it makes me squee, and apparently kinkier than me by a long shot. The new plan of action had been to rent anime (she's a huge fan) and cuddle while watching it on my laptop. When we got to Blockbuster they gave me a ridiculously high late fee that I couldn't possibly cover so we ended up leaving without getting anything (I'm gonna kick Jeff somewhere that will make Katie very upset with me). Instead we went around the corner and I bought us ice cream, it was scary, we had the same thing but with different flavors. Then for lack of something more entertaining I took us to Fred Meyer. We walked around the book section. We hit the toys (she still likes Barbie, I'm girlie enough to find that cute instead of creepy). And in the clothes she tried on a vest that fit her like a glove, she is a tiny girl so to find something that tight took skill. But it was this really cool British guard sort of design that emphasized her curves, watching her put that on - let's say if I had done what was in my head at that moment I would never be allowed in another Fred Meyer. It certainly didn't help matters that the next place we went was the lingerie (and I wasn't the one who walked us there).
I know it may sound really boring but I enjoyed myself immensely, she just leaves me giggly for no more reason than I'm with her. She blushes something fierce and always covers her face to hide it. We held hands in the car and she grabbed my arm when we were walking around. When we were stopped at a light (I had been trying all night to resist kissing her) she looked me dead in the face and kissed me. Needless to say I was bounced over the moon by this. I took her home and we sat in her driveway listening to the Numa Song. She opened her door to get out and I expected that to be it, but she cast a look at the house, saw no one in the windows and kissed me again. I am so looking forward to our date on Friday.
She got out and walked to her door. The last thing she 'said' to me before going inside she said in Sign. Translated it is very simple, but certainly powerful in my mind. "I want you. Love you." Yeah, I'd say that was a good day. Night ~J
