Hmmm . . . let's see. The concerts went well, the first one was really fun, I almost burst out laughing during the middle of the fourth movement (Randy - the conductor- got really into the music so at this one part where the phrases are very clipped he started bouncing up and down in time with us. I love enthusiastic conductors, and actors, and artist, and musicians, and . . .). Unfortuantely on Sunday I almost fell asleep during the second and third movements but it was still entertaining. It's annoying having to adjust to the company you find yourself in. At Steller or in a High school production I'd be hugging everyone I came across before and after a performance to psych myself up, I hugged one person on Sunday and none on Saturday and even then he just looked at me like I was insane, and him an ex-Stellerite, tsk. Other than that it was a fairly ordinary weekend.
I got "Hamlet" the Kenneth Branagh version, since we're reading it in Shakespeare class. I chose his version over the several others because his is 242 min.s and except for the occasional line is an exact replica of the original script, I read along with the movie, it was actually pretty nifty except I missed some of the subtlier bits of acting.
I finished my senior page (took me long enough) hopefully it ought to come out fairly well, I like it anyway so that's what counts.
So much to do and so little motive for doing it.
It's very odd but for some reason I'm feeling (for lack of a better word) sexy at the moment, but I know that is impossible since I have no sex appeal. Oh well, it gives me an ego boost so I don't see any harm in it.
