Jun. 6th, 2005 05:40 pmI am back. Mwahahaha! I got in yesterday at 5 (which is 4am Greece time), except for an hour or two of sleep on a plane I was awake for 25 hours. I have lots of stories from my trip (I had to keep a journal in order to get credit for it) but there is way to many to write down here (I wrote 24 pages, if you ask I'll give you the details but for the short short summary:
Roommates from hell. No one I really knew was on the trip but I got to know a few people better. A little too hot and sunny but I adjusted and didn't fry too badly. Lots of fun involving alcohol (not drinking it however). Got hit on by an Albanian soccer player who was probably a bored Greek playing with the tourist. Ate way too much ice cream (but less than everyone else). Had a lot of gyros. Went shopping. Saw a lot of very old rubble with hard to pronounce names. Ate more gyros and ice cream. Got worried about my family and friends. Met some interesting people. Made an ass of myself. Danced on a moving bus with a bunch of girls in bikinis and drying laundry. Walked up hills, lots and lots of hills. Saw more old rock with an interesting history and even harder names. And finally spent a lot of time on planes.
Yep, that was pretty much my last two weeks. Today was my last day of official school (if Activity Day is school), spent bunches of my time running around getting signitures for my yearbook - last year I got a lot of compliments and a lot of signitures, not so much this time.
Jet lag is sadly catching up to me, I need a nap. Talk to you later ~J
