Ok, I know its been awhile so I'll try and squeeze it all in.
Interesting little story. I was sitting in the Young Adult section at Barnes and Noble looking at sign-language books, when over the wall (in the children's section) I hear the barely contained rumbling of two adults arguing. Suddenly I hear a woman yell " - you asshole!" and everything stops, just stops, long enough that I thought that was it. But I was wrong, "Fu*k you!". Apparently she was arguing with an employee who had asked her to leave, what I want to know is, what did she do?
School hasn't been bad, fairly pleasant, I need to actually sit down and get started on homework though, I haven't had much because of testing and whatnot.
I went to sophomore day, since I didn't go last year, it was boring but educational and they refuse to give us condoms, I wonder why. The activities, what few there were, were fun. We mixed chemicals (a euphemism for sex, so to speak) and then added another chemical and if the liquid turned white we had HIV/AIDS, everyone except for three had it, the funny thing is only two had the chemical to begin with, two out of forty isn't bad.
The activity night was Friday, dull I'm sad to say, nothing much happened. I went to Midsummer again, it wasn't as good as the first time around but the play-within-a-play was fantastic as always. I had to DJ, which freaked me the hell out. I like being in TPC, it's fun and gives me a sense of power, but I hate having to DJ, it scares me.
I told my Mom I was bi today, well actually I said "I think I'm bi", because until I date I probably wont be sure, maybe not even then. She didn't even pause, just said it didn't surprise her and if it turned out I was a lesbian that'd be just fine with her. It felt awkward the rest of the way home but it was a better reaction then I had feared by a long shot. I keep expecting someone to start screaming at me, maybe shed a few tears, or take a swing at me, but so far everyone's taken it beautifully.
Ooo, Pride Prom is Saturday, I hope I can go, with a theme like 'fairytales' for a gay dance, it's too perfect a setup to miss.
Gotta run ~ J
