So many subject so little time.
Ok, in the past few days its been a bit hectic.
I hurt my hand trying to get into character for my monologue (I was practicing in front of Cody, in an enclosed space and I got nervous/claustrophobic). I couldn't close it without wanting to cry out for the rest of the night, it's fine now though.
I've been longing for Sitka for the past few weeks, more specifically I want to see Jenny. I know we may not talk as much as some friends, I may only know (of) a few of her friends, but I still count her as one of my dearest friends. I'm seriously tempted to petition her to see if I could visit during spring break, highly unlikely but still -. I've been thinking about Valentine's day (to throw a party or not to throw a party, hmm), I only have a week but I can probably come up with something, hopefully.
I find something funny. Did you know that if you tell someone you're attracted to them (at some point in time) they think you're attracted to them for - well, possibly forever. It's just odd finding people giving you these odd knowing looks and having no idea what the hell they mean.
I get quite distressed by the fact that most or many of my friends enjoy alcohol and/or drugs (mainly pot) and I have no interest in selling my future to drugs and alcohol just tastes gross to me. The only such vice that hold any appeal to me is the occasional pipe or cigar (I want a pipe so-o bad), not cigarettes, they are just gross and disturbing and wrong, but a pipe every once in awhile (like six months) doesn't sound too horrible.
I saw "As You Like It" tonight. It was good, very pretty and colorful. Oh, everyone was wearing brightly painted bowling shoes, it was just - it was very cool. I was rather pained by the fact that the girl who played Rosalind forgot her lines in the fourth scene and had to have them fed to her for the rest of the show, it hurt it really did. The only characters I really liked (Cody did well but I just wasn't that into the character) were Audrey (Nicole) and Jaques (Jon). Jaques was by far the most realistic, I could understand his character wonderfully. After the show I couldn't really help myself, when all of the actors came out to greet what audience there was I (apologized for my presumption first off) set my stuff down and kissed him on the cheek, he thanked me and said it was a good kiss (a strange compliment but a compliment). Ellie was in it tonight, I taught it was odd when I saw her on stage since I thought she was teching. But over all it had its moments, one of my favorite was at the end, the big wedding scene, Audrey gives Jaques a bouquet of flowers and he scoffs but blushes with pleasure when his back was turned, it was very adorable. I would like to get to know him better, if I could, he seems positively enchanting (I'm very happy he's gay, being straight would ruin all that). I must get Anthea to invite him to the dance.
I ought to go, Mom's giving me dirty looks.
